Covid-19 Mysteries

From the Believe It Or Not file … strange curiosities and oddities regarding Covid-19.

Let’s look at three things that make no sense in the official Covid-19 narrative:

  1. John Hopkins University data show how case numbers and death rates vary widely across the globe.

In Belgium the death rate per 100,000 is around 85. In Taiwan it is around .03. That is a factor of about 2800 between the high death rate of Belgium and the low death rate of Taiwan. Why would the death rates differ so widely between countries? Does the virus respect cultural differences?

  2. Japan’s stubbornly low death rate appears to be uncorrelated with the number of cases.

If you look at this graph of the cases and deaths in Japan you will observe that the death rate is low and has remained flat throughout the crisis. However, the number of cases follow a completely different trajectory. If the deaths are a result of the number of cases then the number of deaths should track the number of cases, albeit with a delay. That is not what we see.

Furthermore, Japan is one of the least locked down countries. So, according to the official narrative, Japan should have a large number of deaths. Again, that is not what we see.

  3. Why are locked down states experiencing worse health outcomes than free states according to researcher Colleen Huber.

Here is a summary of her data analysis:

    • The research shows that states with lock downs are experiencing more Covid-related deaths per 100,000 than free states by a factor of 3.1.
    • A separate analysis was done with two states that are adjacent and have nearly identical population densities – Arkansas and Oklahoma. Oklahoma’s (locked state) Covid-related death rate was a factor of 2.6 times higher than Arkansas (free state).

    • Finally an analysis was done looking at percentage of expected deaths and again the locked states are higher than the free states.

Here are a few more Covid-19 mysteries to ponder:

  • Why are the liquor stores allowed to open when restaurants are not?
  • Why are marijuana dispensaries allowed to open when nail salons are not?
  • Why does the media obsess about cases without acknowledging that deaths are down?
  • If the reason authorities are enforcing a lock down is because they care about people’s health, then why don’t they care about people who can no longer pay for rent or food because they are unemployed as a result of the lock down?
